Mission & Philosophy
Riesco Inc. was established in 1985 to provide residential services for people with developmental and physical disabilities under the title 19 provision for home and community based waivered services. Riesco was one of the pilot projects to provide waivered services in Ramsey county in the state of Minnesota. The program is designed to help adults with disabilities achieve and maintain independent living in the community. Our Supported Living offers individuals’ more choice and freedom  and assists them in living as independently as they choose.

Our focus is on interacting with the people we support, and helping them to meet their own personal goals. That core philosophy remains at the heart of all our programs today. We believe the concept of home-life should be different from school or work. Too often the need for a home retreat is not met in the disabled individual’s life. We recognize that individuals with developmental and physical disabilities have the same emotional needs as non-disabled individuals, and we strive to provide homes in which emotional needs for retreat and acceptance are met.

The services provided by our supported living staff vary  widely from individual to individual depending on their specific needs. 

The Riesco Supported Living Program is open to anyone with a disability on a case by case contract basis.
